Strong Dads, Healthy Families!
WHAT
Strong Dads, Healthy Families is a father-focused support program designed to equip fathers with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to actively support mothers throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. The program emphasizes strengthening father–child bonds, promoting healthy co-parenting, and encouraging fathers to play an engaged, supportive role during the perinatal journey and beyond. Through education, mentorship, and peer connection, Strong Dads, Healthy Families fosters stronger families by empowering fathers to support maternal well-being, nurture their children, and contribute to a healthy, stable family environment.
WHO
This program is designed with fathers and pregnancy, birth, and postpartum partners in mind. Whether you are an expectant dad, a new father, or a supportive partner walking alongside a mom through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum journey, this program offers real support, practical tools, and connection with other men who understand the experience. Participants learn how to better support moms, build strong bonds with their babies, navigate the challenges of parenting, and care for their own mental and emotional well-being. Your presence matters, your role is impactful, and families are stronger when fathers and partners feel informed, confident, and supported. Strong Dads, Healthy Families is for those who want to grow, connect, and help build healthier, more resilient families—and we would be honored to have you join us.
WHY
A dad should be involved in Strong Dads, Healthy Families because it gives him the tools, support, and confidence to show up as the strong, present, and emotionally healthy father his family needs. The program helps dads navigate the transition into parenthood, understand their baby’s development, strengthen communication with their partner, and manage stress in healthy ways. It also creates a space where fathers can connect with other men, share experiences, and build community without judgment. By participating, dads gain practical skills, like bonding techniques, safety basics, and co-parenting strategies, while also improving their own well-being. Ultimately, involvement in the program helps dads build stronger relationships, healthier families, and a more stable foundation for their child’s future.
WHEN
Strong Dads, Healthy Families is a developing initiative that will soon provide fathers with tools, support, and connection to strengthen their families. While the program has not officially started, planning is actively underway. Once launched, fathers will be invited to participate in guided discussions, educational sessions, and mentorship opportunities designed to support family well-being.
